I am pretty sure you are already deaf-ears to the countless times I’ve been saying and saying that fashion is my life and fashion is my passion. Correct? Don’t worry because this will be the last time that you will hear me blabbing about it.

I got accepted at the Istituto Marangoni for their Master’s Program in Fashion Promotion. I am flying to Paris this Spring! What a totally fabulous way to start the new year!

The Istituto Marangoni is one of the world’s top fashion schools and it dates back to 1935 when it opened its Milan campus. I will be going to their school in Paris. The school is located in the heart of the 16th arrondissement, just around the corner from Trocadero, the Eiffel Tower and main international offices of French luxury and fashion brands. I totally can’t wait to fly out to Paris!

But of course, leaving to fulfill my dream also comes with a downside, a very sad price that I have to pay… I have to leave home and everything I love here to go get my dream. So for now, I also have to hang my writer’s cap and say goodbye to blogging.

I hope everyone has enjoyed this blog because I surely enjoying sharing my experiences, thoughts, and other stuff I encounter every day. I will surely miss speaking my mind on this blog.

The New York Fashion Week has ended. It’s time to focus on London – the second stop to a great fashion spectacle. If New York was any indication of what is to come this spring, I’m so looking forward to London.

I will always enjoy NYFW because it’s the beginning of a wonderful season. I love fashion and everything that comes with it. To some, fashion may be intimidating. However, for me, it’s simply being able to appreciate whatever art form that these artists aka designers create out of their own passion and love for the craft.

I could never be able to live without fashion. I try to maintain a lifestyle that includes it as well as giving importance to healthy living. Look good with fashion, feel good with a healthy diet.

Calvin Klein is one of the great forces in the fashion industry. He has transcended from all kinds of brands and has even branched out into perfumes. When talking about his designs, it has always been simple but very sophisticated. Unlike other designers who go all out, he keeps to a minimum and does it brilliantly.

I love this dress. It’s so girly.

Peter Som is another one of those designers that are not so popular with the masses. However, to those who know if him, he’s one talented designer. I always love his spring collections because of the colors that he uses – so perfect.

As much as I love supermodels, I also love a healthy and powerful woman. Take for example, Jillian Michaels. She is no way as thin as Kate Moss or Naomi Campbell but she is such an inspiring woman. Of course, I don’t aspire to be all buff but the fact that she is able to maintain that discipline and determination of staying fit and healthy, it makes me admire her a lot.

I think she is really the perfect endorser of iFit Live. Termed as the toughest trainer in America, I’m sure anyone who wants to workout look up to her and see her as someone very amazing and sexy in her own way. Because of her, I am excited to get myself a NordicTrack treadmill (although I don’t know which one yet) because of this technology.

For me, she’s such a wonder woman.

Don’t you all love my title? Haha! Seriously though, I want to buy a treadmill but I would never exercise with heels on. Although I heard that some models do this to practice their walk. Well, it’s safe to say that I’m not a model so let’s leave it at that.

I have been searching online for a good treadmill. I have been reading product reviews as well as feedback from customers who have ordered online. I have come up with three of my top choices for treadmills.

I want a NordicTrack treadmill because it has an iFit Live technology which is really cool. You can actually work out while feeling as if you’re running on a real track because of the apps that can make you use Google maps. I think it’s pretty inspiring and very advanced in terms of technology.

NordicTrack A2250 Pro

This is considered to be a budget treadmill but it still has some pretty impressive features. I think this is good for me because I am just a normal walker, not really much of a runner so I wouldn’t mind this at all.

NordicTrack Commercial 1750

It is supposed to be a best buy because of its features and its innovative technology. I like it because of its iFit Live technology. It could probably inspire me more to work out regularly.

NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro

It is supposed to be the top of the line. It is a strong competition for other brands because it offers a lot more for a lesser price.

These are my three choices and I still don’t know what to choose.

Marc Jacobs is one of those designers who have gained commercial success because of his work and his presence. He is so charming and very interesting that you just can’t help but be drawn to him. It also helps that he has a great talent and skill in creating these wonderful outfits.

He always has a thing for flair and dramatics and in his latest collection, he doesn’t disappoint.

When it comes to red carpet events and evening gowns, Monique Lhuillier is pretty up there. I love her so much. If not for Vera Wang, I would also want her to do my wedding gown.  *sigh

Going to the spa is really one of the factors that make me relax and unwind after a stressful week of work or even personal problems. Sometimes, with no reason at all other than get pampered, I enjoy going to the spa with my girls.

Ever since I have decided to live a healthy life even if I do enjoy going out and having fun, I really do make it a point that I should treat my body well. They say that the body is a temple and therefore, I should learn to respect it.

Learn to unwind and give back to yourself. Don’t wait until your body breaks down and couldn’t take anymore of your abuse in terms of work and other stress factors.

Life is short. Learn to enjoy it but live it with more positivity and eliminate the negative vibes.
